Rustic Burnt Wood Dining Bench which is lovingly handcrafted to order and is the perfect match for our lovingly handcrafted dining tables.

The "Threlkeld" Handmade Dining Bench is finished using the art of Burnt Wood which involves subjecting each piece of timber to fire to create a finish that cannot be replicated in any other manner. This process brings out the grain in the timber and truly makes for a wonderfully unique finish. Once the process of Burning Wood is completed each piece of timber is treated with 2 coats of Natural Danish Oil which seals and protects the wood whilst adding a water resistant coating.

The "Threlkeld" Dining Bench is the perfect match for our "Haweswater" Dining Table and is the same bench as our "Broughton" Dining Bench but is finished using a fired finish, rather than the waxed finish of the "Broughton" Dining Bench.

Our solid wood is lovingly handcrafted to retain all of its characteristics making every piece completely unique.

*Please choose the level of Firing (Charring) that you wish for your bench to receive using the drop down boxes. Image 2 shows - Lightly Fired and Image 3 shows - Medium Fired. Heavily Fired wood will be essentially black with just a few lighter spots.*

Please note: This bench is our lightest duty bench and is suitable for 1-2 adults. This bench although very well constructed is not suitable for use by children where repeated latural movement may occur and where benches are to be used by children we recommend our "Ravenglass" bench which is suitable for very heavy duty use.

*Raw Steel brackets/legs are Raw Unfinished Steel, these will change over time to create a lovely industrial look and feel and may rust/oxidise slightly depending upon the moisture content in your home. In order to keep Raw Steel looking it's best rub lightly with a scourer with WD40 on it from time to time in order to maintain its appearance. For alternative finishes/colours on your chosen items legs/brackets please see our brackets/legs section and let us know your choice of alternative finish at checkout in the message/notes section*
All of our orders are shipped using a courier service on either a 48hr or 72hr delivery service dependant upon courier availability. Our courier may attempt to contact you via text or email prior to attempting delivery. If you are not available when our courier attempts delivery they may leave a card or ask you to call them to arrange re-delivery. Most courier services will attempt to deliver an item 2-3 times before returning the item to the sender. If an item is returned to us we reserve the right to charge for re-attempting delivery to you. Please note: you may be required to sign for delivery of your item and in some cases this will need to be an adult over 18 years of age.

Occasionally unexpected delays to your expected delivery time may occur due to unexpected circumstances such as bad weather, peak periods etc.

Please note: once your order has left us into the care of the courier company any unexpected delays are entirely out of our hands and any delivery queries should be directed to the courier company with whom your purchase has been shipped.
We use a mixture of new and reclaimed timber in all of our products. This means that the timber we use has had a varied and often hard life prior to being made into unique pieces of furniture.

The boards we use will have a variety of man made and natural chips, dents, scratches, small holes, missing knots and may even be slightly warped or bent.

We take every care with these pieces of timber to make the final product as straight as possible and work with any imperfections to either make a feature of them or blend them into the final product.

As an extra safeguard we provide rubber feet protectors with our metal legged products and we also supply felt pads to attach to the bottoms of wooden/metal legs which can be used to flatten out any small imperfections.
